Julia - Oil Pastel |
Excerpted from dream journal Vol. 2 May:
"There's some gathering of sorts. Many women are here. Maybe all women. Someone, who is familiar to me, asks me what I'm doing. "I'm heading out," I tell her. "I need to go to," she says. We walk together in a field that's being plowed. My friend either goes back to the gathering or disappears some- how. I walk the plowed rows alone, hearing "La Délaïssàdo" by Joseph Canteloube as sung by Arleen Auger. I am really sad but I don't know why."
I found out later that a day before this dream my friend, Julia, died. |
